keeping her eyes on his, hers dancing with mischief as they stare deeply into his own...she parts her lips as he offers the spoon and envelops the creamy cold richness and savors it upon her tongue then pokes it out and licks the last of the creamy coating from the spoon itself.

Mmmm....I do so love the velvety soft on my tongue M'Lord....

Wont you have a taste? I would not want to be selfish....

Indeed I think I will join you in this decadence m'lady.

Gregarious takes the spoon newly laiden with ice cream and savours the coolness and texture nearly sucking the last of the richness from the spoon.

Preparing to scoop another spoonful Gregarious claims a little ice cream has fallen to Ellsbeths neck, ever the gentleman Gregarious swoops in and gently licks it from her skin, and since he is there already places a few kisses on the shoulder muscle and turning her head a little, to the back of her neck, revelling the entire time in the scent of her hair.

chuckling and bending her head to make it difficult for him to reach his target and then catching her breath as he trails the kisses onto her shoulder and lifts her hair to claim the back of her neck.....

Mmmmm.....and I thought Ice cream was the dessert.....

She reaches back and caresses his rough cheek with a gentle hand all the while melting much like the ice cream abandoned in the bowl beside her......

there now we can both be as lucky as the ice cream has been.

Smiling and leaning back against his chest, she sighs contentedly...

Cocking her head to the side and turning it back ever so slightly....

If only every afternoon could be wiled away with Ice cream and pleasant company My love....

so much to do to begin this new adventure....

Reaching to pull his right arm comfortably around her waist as she relaxes against him and daydreams in the companionable moment....

Smiling contentedly as she feels his hand lazily tracing along her skirt fabric she leans her head over and glances back at him, catching his eyes with hers and then quickly averting them once more.

She catches movement out of the corner of her eye and sees a lil patchwork Kitten has wandered in the room from the barn and is eying the saucer of melted ice cream. Laughing at the greedy lil ball of fur she lifts it onto her lap and kisses it's little head and hands it up to Greg while she sets the dish of melted cream on the floor.

Well I believe someone would like to finish off dessert for us Mr Smith

Turning in his embrace just slightly to wink at him as he nuzzles the kitten and then sets the vibrating fuzzball down as he greedily attacks the saucer of sweetness.

Well at least it wont go to waste eh?

Ells reaches up with her hand to brush some kitten fuzz from Greg's beard and her fingers linger a moment longer than necessary....

Right then.

Gregarious rolls on top of Ellsbeth pining her to the couch. Swiftly kissing her then rolling off and kneeing gives the kitty scritches between the ears.

Enough idling then. there must be something needs 'doing' around here?

Gregarious snickers and looks questioningly at Ellsbeth before headed for the kitchen.

Catches her breath after the surprise "attack" and rolls over onto her stomach so she pet the greedy lil kitten as she calls out with a chuckle

So is it cooking or Dishes you are off to do dear? Either way I am fine with it! Just curious

she grins and whispers to the Kitty tis a fine thing to have man who is handy in the kitchen it is!

I was hoping to test the sturdiness of the island, but that's fine. I am sure there must be a chicken here abouts or a goose. I can come up with something and have it stuffed in no time. Then I can relax as well. Bask in the after glow, of the oven of course.

You Built it didn't you? Why would it be anything but rock sturdy? of this I am certain.

reaching over to pick up the lil ball of fluff who is now sporting a full tummy and nuzzles him to her cheek before turning over and depositing him in the folds of her skirt as she trails a bit of yarn about for him to pounce on in her lap.

The aroma from the kitchen soon wafting out and filling the room with it's enticing scents.

Both Ells and the kitten soon drowse off, he finding the perfect spot to cozy up between her chin and bosom, a stray ginger curl of his mistress' between his paws still.

Standing over the sleeping form of his lady and his? cat? Gregarious ponders past and present. A long road, many curves and detours. Not the easiest of paths to follow, but he would not, could not imagine himself nay where else.

Gently pushing a lock of Elsbeth's hair with is finger he slips back to the kitchen.
